Car insurance customers in Northern Ireland can take advantage of eight free weeks of cover if they turn to Direct Line.
The car insurance provider says the offer is aimed at drivers in Northern Ireland and the wider UK living on a tighter budget during the recession.
Kerry Chilvers, head of marketing for Direct Line, points out that the car insurance deal gives motorists the provider's usual high-quality policy features, but at a discounted premium.
Furthermore, Direct Line's comprehensive car insurance includes a Vandalism Promise and an Uninsured Driver Promise.
The first ensures any motorist who makes a claim for damage caused by vandalism will not lose their no claims discount, while the latter makes sure drivers don't lose their no claims discount or their excess if they claim for an accident with an uninsured individual that is not their fault.
Commenting on the offer, Chilvers remarked that Direct Line has "some of the best-value products on the market" in the current financial climate, adding: "We're not on price comparison websites and we don't pay anyone commission, so when customers come to us direct, they could benefit from additional savings."
The free car insurance offer ends on 30th November.
